ACCOMODATION, VISAS, GENERAL INFORMATION

There is a great number and diversity of hostelling and other type of accommodation available between the conference location and the Latin quarter, at the center of Paris.

VISA

Except for visitors from European countries (EEC) a valid passport is required to enter in France. Please check with the closest French Embassy or consulate whether or not a visa is required. Visitors from many countries do not require a visa to enter in France but you should check with your travel agent.

Participants who do require a visa should allow plenty of time for your application to be processed.

To request a visa letter, you must have registered and submitted an abstract already.

By email you must also contact the secretary of the conference (see page Contact ) and indicate how do you wish us to send the letter, by regular Mail, by Fax, or by Email.

Your abstract will be reviewed by the scientific organizing committee and a letter sent if it is approved.

Getting to the conference

Paris airports website

Mixed tickets, metro + bus + RER + train (RATP + SNCF) are available in Paris, in any metro (RATP) or railway (SNCF) station. We recommend you buy this kind of ticket. Two of them are very convenient: "Mobilis" (daily ticket) or "Paris Visite" (Tickets for 1, 2 3 or 5 days), which means that you must buy tickets for zones 1 to 3.
